New Wizard Conceptart - Dual Wielding

Didn't know the Wiz could dual-wield. There's some speculation on the official D3 forums that this could be the female monk..I definately think its the wizzy. So can anyone confirm the dual-weilding because that opens up bzillion possibilities of magic/melee combinatins builds

It could be an early artwork of female monk possibly?|||I figure it could be the wizard because she is using ice and what looks like electricity. Then again, her face looks less Asain than the wizard. Maybe they are just magic weapons held by female monk.

Anyway, if she can dual wield then maybe everyone can dual wield too!|||Quote:

Really?! And here I was thinking if it was made to look any more stereotypically Asian, it would be on par with those old Yellow Peril cartoons...|||It's not exactly dual wielding, she's using one of the wizard only orb offhand items. If you can look closely at the staff's head, you can see a barely visible orb-like thing amongst the magic glow.

Hopefully there's some Gandalf-like melee and magic combinations the wizard can learn using both weapon and orb.|||Not to dampen everyone's excitedness but I wouldn't take this as convincing evidence. After all, it's a stylized poster meant to generate hype and interest in the Wizard more than to display in-game content. I mean, you wouldn't cite this poster as evidence for there being items looking exactly like those above, surely?|||The poster is great, but other than that it does not tell me that the wizard is infact dual-wielding |||Check out her footwear. Looks like ninja, so that means she is monk.|||Wait, since when are heavy-looking boots with flaps ninja equipment? Even for a parody on fridge logic that was a stretch.
