What is the explostion spell in the Wizard trailer? - Page 2

Looks a bit like it is based on something similar to Acid Cloud or maybe even fire-based, bit like the witch doctor explosion. Hard to know, but i have definitly not seen this named yet.|||I dunno about all, but to me it looks like apocalypse from D1.|||Quote:

Nice idea and yes it does look like Apocalypse. Now all go and play D1 to go and have a look I'love to give Apocalypse a comeback. From what i remember it was only available on a staff in D1.|||It's encouraging to see that the class with the most spelled-out skill trees still has potential for some cool surprise abilities.|||Could it be Acid Cloud or something modified with a Fire Damage rune, maybe? Do runes alter the animations?|||check out 2:31. its another kind of explosion, because there is no mushroom cloud left behind. this spell is a lot more intense and i love the way it throws everything in all directions, although im not satisfied with the sound, its like a hit with a whip or an exploding air balloon. it might be the same skill but on a much higher lvl than the explosions you mentioned.|||It might be a modification to another skill.

Like you can make the teleport skill explode with a rune modification to the skill.

I dont know if I've seen the exact thing you mention though, I just remember she exploding while teleporting and remembering that alot of different skills can do alot of different things, like explode|||Have you looked at the video? I put the times when it happens.|||You must be talking about meteor or a level up explosion?? Or else when the monsters 'pop' so to speak, thats a critical death animation ....|||Sorry no. Go watch the video, its a unknown skill. Why does everyone say meteor anyway? How is an explosion similiar to rocks streaming from the top of the screen?
