My idea is a vacuum effect that draws monsters in that are caught in the impact radius. Different size monsters will be affected differently, with higher-up runes pulling stronger/longer. From what I've seen so far, Arcane Orb is slow as hell; why not make it worthwhile to try for a successful shot to incapacitate your foes? Then you can combo them with any number of AoE attacks once they're haplessly sucked in.
Also, I loved frozen orb! I feel like they'll give us a rune with a similar effect in Arcane Orb.|||Quote:

I really like the idea of creating a vortex type effect, not necessarily with this particular skill, but it's a skill that would fit with a wizard.
