Male Wizards. - Page 4

The whole point of the wizard design is to avert the traditional "wizard" archetype. Instead of an old white man in a tower, it's a 19 year old asian Girl/Boy.

My thoughts exactly.

I happen to love the young asian look of both male and female Wizards.

Please no aging man, no beard... it's too cliche.|||I think the female looks ok but the male needs a tattoo or...something? He looks very plain. Not saying it's terrible, I'm glad they stepped away from the cliche old man with big stick (Cain?) but still, I feel they could do a little more with it's design.|||Quote:

Again, I reiterate the offer to make him look like the D1 Sorc. Have Samuel L. Jackson voice him.

Samuel L. Jackson hits the spot! D1 Sorceror had a really distinctive appeal.

Both female and male wizard apper arrogant and young. I like that, even if the male one looks a bit too cocky.

Since D2 though i have a female sorceress fixation i can't seem to lay off, so the male version is no option.|||The D3 wizard is like the D&D sorcerer... A young renegade spellcaster that derives their power from talent and experimentation, not studying and preparation... making them look like an old man (aka like a traditional wizard) would go against that...|||Personally, the traditional (Western) archetype of a wizard is fine and all, but they might be trying something different by going for a younger version, one that's a bit more Eastern. What's wrong with mixing it up a bit from the traditional?|||Quote:

Nothing really. Just imagine how powerful they will be when they are old and grey and have survived Diablo III!

So for Diablo IV we can then have the old man/woman wizard , like Deckard Cain.|||Note the facial hair that never made it into his face texture.

At least it gave him a slightly more distinct look. The only problem is that he would be too similar to the Demon Hunter. I would agree that he might need a tattoo of some sort, though I'm not sure I would like a Mike Tyson style facial tattoo at all. but still it almost has to show in most armors.

I guess his hairdo is what makes him special because his ingame model looks like any young semi native indian or something. (He does not look asian) Well, I'm not typing anything good here, might as well take a nap to get my brain back on track. |||Quote:

Those facebook links really show a change. The semi-asian look that vibrates at least form the female model on the official Diablo III site is gone completely.

Are there any high resolution versions of those facebook images around? |||I just want to play... I dont care how they look...|||Yeah I was hoping they keep the asian style.
