Disintegrate-->Twin beams

[:1]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbGeuFkZIMI

Around 2:15.|||If I am to guess on what it does I would say it increases the width of the skill... maybe.(unless Blizz decided to change the base skill to that.)|||Well, you got 2 hands so why not a duo laser

Question is, will they do the same with the icebeam?

Next to that, yeah I tink Blizzard choose this as a new visual for beamspells. As a rune effect it would look silly where the description says: With this rune the wizard will use both hands....|||http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/s...d.php?t=806462

The list of passive skills doesn't seem to include anything like that. Since the skill runes weren't in the beta and that is beta footage, I am assuming they changed the way the skill looks.|||Just because there were no skill runes in the beta doesn't mean that some of the skills in the video weren't runed.

Take the Witch Doctor part, at one point it summons all three Mongrels at the same time. Then how about the Monk's Wave of Light? It is supposed to go in a straight line damaging all enemies it hits, but in the video it hits the goatmen and knocks them all back.|||The real question is, is that a tier 1 rune? If it is, does this mean we get eight lazer beams at once with a tier 7 rune?|||@konfeta: my eyes bled by just imagining that. o_o|||Awesome tends to do that.|||Oh yeah, with a lvl 7 rune, you'll go KAMEHAMEHA TIMES 8!!!!!

[/drool]|||It's definitely a rune effect, since you can see the standard disintegrate in the same video. The exact effect is ofcourse unknown, but it wouldn't be a stretch for it to increase the skill's damage, while increasing the AP/sec cost. Maybe it even eliminates the warmup penalty.

8 is not enough. I want my disintegrate to look like this:
