Wizard gear progression - Page 2

[:1]i like the armors but not the helmets :S. wizard helmets are not cuttin it for me haha, if they have a circlet type thing i will be happy haha. Also, when you said about lightning damage, all i could think about was "yeah it looks like that cos it has a lightning rod stuck on its head" :P just my opinion |||Quote:

When playing and seeing this in game, i think the experience will be different after all, since you will not really notice the big helmets in the fashion like they are displayed above. Still i am not either a big fan of helmets and would like to have an option to simply not display it, though if that option is not there, what the hell. That can't be a deal-breaker for buying the game! |||Cowls, coolies, traditional wizard hats, wide brimmed hats, what is wrong with a toned down helmet? When you have a spell like diamond armor you don't really need a big, plate and mail helmet right?|||Quote:

I have similar sentiments. I'd prefer to see more downplayed headgear for the wizard. Though, I guess for those times when your magical defenses are down (or if the wizard is so arrogant to think they need not expend magical power on defenses), a nice plate helm helps to keep the noggin' from being crushed.|||I think it looks nice, as long as the gear doesn't get too crazy fantasy like i will be happy.
