Female Wizard gear set - Page 2

@lone_wolf

well its plate... covering her breasts... am I taking it too literally? =P|||tittsplate!|||chain mail would have been better|||Cool design, i specially love the details on the metal parts ... neat .. unfortunately most of it won't be this clear when seen from a top view .. but still .. it looks cool nonetheless.

But actually the headdress makes me think of something .. will helmets lose their uniqueness as they were in D2 separate from the armor tier/level you wear .. you equip any helmet and it looks on the character exactly (or mostly) as it looks in the inventory .. but what i see here is that the helmet feels like it's a part of the armor tier look .. so will it be either be no helmet or this one specific helmet design no matter what helmet you wear with this specific armor tier !!!? .. i hope not.

How exactly ?|||@diablo said this is around lvl 20 gear. so it's probably like, the lowest level of plate mail in the game. or something like the 13th quality level of armor, on the 18 sets sliding scale from cloth to FPM.|||I wonder what part of the armor the monsters will attack first? ;p|||Quote:

So, does this mean armor (item) design will keep on evolving throughout nightmare and hell difficulty unlike D2 (where a light plate looks like a mage plate looks like a archon plate)? If so, that would be great.

About the design shown itself, pretty meh honestly.

Also, i still don't really get what (separate) items we're seeing here.|||Gauntlets can easily be distinguished from greaves, etc for the rest. They're of matching base item, so perhaps that confused you.

I like the armor, but I'll probably go without the helm like in D2. IDK why, but I always preferred the helm-less look on all chars (except a crown on pally and winged helm on barb).|||So its not just the body armor dictating the design of the gauntlets we're seeing here?

I hope not.|||It's the armor class dictating the design.

Plate armor means plate gauntlets.
